Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor seeks a Geospatial Analyst to conduct site analyses for wind, PV, and BESS projects in Berlin, considering technical, regulatory, environmental and economic factors.

You will create and develop GIS analyses, maps and geospatial data to support project development, land acquisition and permitting processes, and advise interdisciplinary teams with robust spatial analyses to support investment decisions.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in geoinformatics, geography, renewable energy, or related field.
• Experience with GIS, AEP calculations, and site assessments for wind, PV, or BESS projects.
• Proficiency in WindPro or OpenWind is advantageous.
• Solid knowledge of planning and permitting law and regulatory requirements in renewables.
• Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken.

• Conduct site and potential analyses for wind, PV, and BESS projects, taking technical, regulatory, environmental, and economic criteria into account.
• Create and further develop GIS analyses, maps, and geospatial data to support project development, land acquisition, and permitting processes.
• Conduct geospatial due diligence analyses as part of M&A transactions, and identify and assess opportunities, risks, and development potential.
• Develop, automate, and optimize GIS workflows while ensuring high data quality and efficient geospatial data processes.
• Advise interdisciplinary teams through well-founded spatial analyses and provide robust decision‑making support for project development and investment decisions.

Requirements

• Completed degree in geoinformatics, geography, renewable energy, environmental sciences, or a comparable qualification.
• Experience and solid knowledge of GIS, AEP calculations, and site assessments in the project development of wind, PV, or BESS projects.
• Proficiency in GIS applications; experience with WindPro, OpenWind, or comparable software solutions is an advantage.
• Solid knowledge of planning and permitting law, as well as a good understanding of regulatory requirements in the renewable energy sector.
• Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
