Bob W. in Berlin is seeking a General Manager to lead local operations across our Berlin properties, ensuring 5-star guest experiences and sustainable growth.

You will own budgets and P&Ls, build and coach your team, recruit and onboard new colleagues, and manage vendor contracts in line with our mission and culture.

This role marks a pivotal growth phase; visa sponsorship is not offered and candidates must already hold a valid German work permit.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in multi-property operations or hospitality with P&L ownership.
• Experience hiring, onboarding, offboarding, and leading a team.
• Experience managing external vendors and contracts (cleaning, maintenance, or similar service providers).
• Customer service-driven attitude with a passion for world-class guest experiences.
• Strong problem-solving with calmness under pressure.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Ability to learn hospitality apps and operational technology tools.
• A valid work permit for Germany; no sponsorship required.

As a General Manager, you will manage local operations and ensure efficient oversight of our apartments and partner network. Your role will involve initiating and implementing new processes and managing budgets and P&L in our Berlin properties. You will lead your team to deliver exceptional guest experiences, fostering a positive and engaging culture.

This is a pivotal moment for our Berlin market: you'll step in during a period of growth, helping the team build a stronger structure and clear goals.

In this role, you will:

• Manage and launch local operations, focusing on 5-star guest experience, profitability and business growth.
• Manage and own the budgets and P&Ls for our properties in Berlin.
• Define and scope your team goals based on company-wide OKRs and lead your team to deliver exceptional results.
• Take on the responsibility for hiring, onboarding, and offboarding team members.
• Manage relationships and contracts with external vendors and service providers (e.g. cleaning, maintenance), ensuring standards are met.
• Build the structure that lets your team perform independently: clear, measurable goals, coaching team supervisors, and simplifying or automating day-to-day work.
• Develop cross-functional partnerships, actively solve problems, and unblock team members while positively challenging and encouraging participation.
• Be an active role model for Bob W’s mission, strategy, and culture.

Our 5-star candidate has:

• 5+ years of experience in multi-property operations or hospitality with P&L ownership.
• Experience in hiring, onboarding, offboarding, and leading a team.
• Experience managing external vendors and contracts (cleaning, maintenance, or similar service providers).
• A customer service-driven attitude and a passion for delivering world-class guest experiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively anticipate and address potential issues.
• The ability to stay calm under pressure while managing multiple situations simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Fluency in German and English.
• The ability to quickly learn and adapt to hospitality apps and operational technology tools.
• A valid work permit for Germany; no sponsorship required.
