The role sits in a hybrid work setup at our Berlin location. You will handle operational and administrative services, tickets, and cross-functional collaboration, with a focus on continuous improvement and accurate reporting.

Qualifikationen

• Academic degree in Business Administration, Certified Accountant or similar.
• Relevant experience in general ledger.
• Experience in a shared service organization.
• IT literacy in MS Office and ERP.
• Analytical mindset with focus on improvement.
• Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.

Join our team as a General Ledger Accountant (m/f/d) and play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records, excellence driving process, and supporting a collaborative global business environment.

This is a full-time position for two years . Your place of work is at our Berlin-based entity KWS Berlin GmbH.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering operational and administrative services to meet defined requirements and expectations
• Processing of requests, and inquiries in the ticket system, adhering to agreed-upon response times
• Actively participating in projects and contributing to the implementation and improvement of the processes
• Proactively identifying service delivery issues, opportunities for improvement, standardization, and digitalization and takes appropriate action, contributing to performance improvement initiatives
• Striving for operational excellence by consistently executing daily tasks efficiently and effectively
• Fostering a collaborative environment that encourages the exchange of ideas and knowledge
• Providing guidance and support to business users, offering assistance and expertise in all relevant aspects
• Enhancing cross-functional cooperation and an efficient information flow between Global Functions, Global Business Operations (GBO) and business units

Profile:

• Academic degree in Business Administration, Certified Accountant or similar
• Relevant experience in general ledger
• Experience working in a shared service organization
• IT literacy in MS Office and ERP
