KWS SAAT SE is seeking a General Ledger Accountant (m/f/d) in Berlin to ensure accurate financial records and support global business operations. This full-time role focuses on delivering operational and administrative services within a collaborative shared services environment.

You will handle requests in a ticket system, contribute to process improvements, and work with Global Functions and business units. English fluency is essential, with additional languages considered an advantage.

Join our team as aGeneral Ledger Accountant (m/f/d) and play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records, excellence driving process, and supporting a collaborative global business environment.

This is a full-time position for two years. Your place of work is at our Berlin-based entityKWS Berlin GmbH.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering operational and administrative services to meet defined requirements and expectations
• Processing of requests, and inquiries in the ticket system, adhering to agreed-upon response times
• Actively participating in projects and contributing to the implementation and improvement of the processes
• Proactively identifying service delivery issues, opportunities for improvement, standardization, and digitalization and takes appropriate action, contributing to performance improvement initiatives
• Striving for operational excellence by consistently executing daily tasks efficiently and effectively
• Fostering a collaborative environment that encourages the exchange of ideas and knowledge
• Providing guidance and support to business users, offering assistance and expertise in all relevant aspects
• Enhancing cross-functional cooperation and an efficient information flow between Global Functions, Global Business Operations (GBO) and business units

Profile:

• Academic degree in Business Administration, Certified Accountant or similar
• Experience working in a shared service organization
• IT literacy in MS Office and ERP
