Job summary

SANY Europe GmbH, the European subsidiary of SANY Group, seeks a General Ledger Accountant with strong IFRS/HGB and tax expertise to support their growing business in Germany.

In this role you will maintain the general ledger, drive month-end and year-end closings, prepare IFRS and HGB statements, ensure tax compliance, and optimize SAP FI/CO processes while delivering ad hoc reports as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Several years of general ledger accounting experience (IFRS & HGB) and tax.
• Strong SAP FI/CO skills.
• Deep IFRS knowledge and HGB understanding.
• Knowledge of German tax regulations and tax reporting.
• Analytical mindset, well-organized, and strong communication skills.
• Fluent in English and native in German.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger in accordance with IFRS and HGB.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities and audit preparation.
• Prepare IFRS and HGB financial statements and reconciliations.

With continuous expansion across Europe, we are strengthening our local finance team and are looking for an experienced General Ledger Accountant with solid tax expertise to support our growing business.

Your Role

• Maintain the general ledger in accordance with IFRS and HGB.
• Play a key role in month-end and year-end closing activities, as well as annual audit preparation.
• Prepare IFRS and HGB financial statements and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with German tax regulations and support tax reporting.
• Analyze discrepancies and contribute to accurate reporting.
• Optimize SAP FI/CO processes and prepare ad hoc reports as required.

You Have

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in general ledger accounting (IFRS & HGB) and tax.
• Strong SAP FI/CO skills.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and in-depth understanding of HGB.
• Knowledge of German tax regulations and experience with tax reporting.
• Analytical mindset, well-organized, and strong communication skills.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking) and native in German
