Job summary

A leading construction machinery manufacturer is seeking a General Ledger Accountant for their Bedburg office. This role requires maintaining the general ledger under IFRS & HGB, contributing to month-end and year-end closing, and preparing financial statements while ensuring compliance with German tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, fluency in German and English, and proven experience in accounting and tax reporting. Qualifications

• Proven experience in general ledger accounting (IFRS & HGB) and tax is necessary.

With continuous expansion across Europe, we are strengthening our local finance team and are looking for an experienced General Ledger Accountant with solid tax expertise to support our growing business.

Your Role:

• Responsible for maintaining the general ledger under IFRS & HGB.
• Plays a key role in month-end and year-end closing activities, and annual audit preparation.
• Prepare IFRS & HGB financial statements and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with German tax regulations and support tax reporting.
• Analyze discrepancies and contribute to accurate reporting.
• Optimize SAP FI/CO processes and prepare for the ad hoc reports

You Have:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Years of experience in general ledger accounting (IFRS & HGB) and tax.
• Knowledge of German tax regulations and experience with tax reporting.
• Analytical mindset, organized, communicative.
• Fluent in German and English (reading, writing, speaking).
