A leading luxury art publisher in Berlin seeks an experienced Sales Representative to drive client acquisition and manage relationships. Ideal candidates will have a strong sales background, preferably in art or luxury retail, and excellent communication skills in both German and English. Active sales of the TASCHEN program with a focus on acquiring new clients and expanding the existing customer base
Engaging with potential clients both by phone and in person
Proactive client acquisition and consistent follow-up
Leveraging your sales experience—ideally in art, gallery, luxury retail, or a comparable environment—to build long-term client relationships
Supporting the team with warehouse management, orders, database maintenance, coordination of incoming goods, shipments, as well as product presentation and maintenance
Applying your organizational skills at TASCHEN events such as book signings, art fairs, and openings both in Germany and abroad
Fluent communication skills in German and English (additional languages are a plus)
With your social skills, proactive and sales-driven mindset, and customer-oriented approach, you contribute to achieving and exceeding both personal and team sales targets
Proven sales experience, ideally in the art, gallery, or luxury segment
Enthusiasm for active client acquisition, both by phone and in person
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Excellent organizational abilities combined with a hands-on mentality
Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus
Confident user of MS Office
