United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join remotely or at our Berlin office. You will work across the stack to build the climate-impact platform, delivering engaging identity features, gamified progress, and digital collectibles for millions of users.

You should have 3+ years of production-grade JavaScript/TypeScript, backend Node.js or Go experience, and proficiency with Vue.js or React.

We are looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer with solid frontend and backend experience to join us remotely or in our Berlin office. As we grow, we need your skills to support our mission of building the future of green search.

Day-to-day, you will work across the entire stack - from crafting intuitive user interfaces to building scalable backend services - ensuring our product remains delightful, reliable, and efficient for millions of daily users.

A Role to Help Create Lasting Change

Develop Core Product Features: Expand our Accounts Platform (user identity and account management) and develop the Climate Impact Experience through engaging, gamified features like seed tracking, levels, and digital collectibles.

• End-to-End Ownership: Architect, build, test, and ship features as part of a cross-functional product team alongside Product, Design, and BI partners.

• Ensure Operational Excellence: Maintain system resilience, security, data privacy, and performance to support our growing user base.

• Elevate Engineering Culture: Promote engineering best practices, share knowledge, and cultivate a collaborative, high-trust engineering environment.

Your Areas of Knowledge and Experience

3+ years of experience writing and shipping production-grade JavaScript and TypeScript code.

• 3+ years of experience building and maintaining backend services using Node.js or Go.

• Experience with Vue.js, React, or other similar frontend libraries.

• Solid collaboration mindset and experience in cross-functional teams.

• Professional fluency in English.

How many people work at the company?About 100! Our departments include Engineering, Product, Marketing, Trees, People, and Operations.

Our eng & product teams work in a cross-functional set-up, forming 7 teams.

Where is the company based, and what kind of work setup do we have?We are a remote-friendly company with one office in Berlin-Wedding. People come to the office or work from home as per their wishes and/or circumstances. Some roles require presence in the office at least from time to time.

Can I apply if I want to work remotely?Please note that in order for us to consider you for a remote EOR candidacy, you should be based in a CE(S)T +/- 2 hours location due to our core hours and ways of working.
