As we scale rapidly, we’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Berlin HQ and help build core infrastructure and features, while growing with the company.

Your mission

• Own features end-to-end across frontend and backend using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (e.g., Next.js, Node.js).
• Design, implement, and maintain APIs that are scalable, secure, and well-documented.
• Model, optimize, and operate databases (SQL & NoSQL) for performance and reliability.
• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), applying IaC (Terraform).
• Integrate authentication & authorization flows (OAuth, SSO, session/token management) to ensure secure and smooth user experiences.
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., coding assistants, LLM-based code suggestions) for productivity while reviewing and owning every line of code.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Ops, Finance, and Design to ship impactful features.
• Set high standards for testing and maintainability.
• Be open to reading, understanding, and debugging parts of the stack built with no-code/low-code tools (e.g., Bubble.io).

Your profile

• 5+ years professional experience in software engineering, with strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills across frontend & backend.
• Strong cloud infrastructure experience, ideally with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Database expertise (SQL and/or NoSQL) with knowledge of schema design, indexing, query optimization.
• Proven API development experience (REST/GraphQL).
• Knowledge of auth protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, SSO, session management) is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of no-code/low-code platforms (eg. bubble.io) is a plus.
• Comfortable working independently in a seed-stage startup with cross-functional responsibilities.
• Willingness to work on-site at our office in Berlin.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
