About the job Frontend Engineer (React, TypeScript)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a Frontend Engineer, you will drive the development of our customer-facing platform to make the impact of companies on people and the environment fully transparent. You will be involved in the entire development lifecycle from concept to implementation, using a component-based web framework within a fully modern tech stack. As an early employee at a fast-growing VC-backed startup, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful launch of our product and driving forward the digital transformation of ESG data. You will work with an international and cross-functional team of world-class software engineers, product managers, and designers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop our web application based on continuous customer feedback, data analysis, and product requirements.
• Implement intuitive and responsive web designs in close collaboration with our designers.
• Shape our early-stage product and company's architecture, toolchain, and development practices.
• Keep the technical debt low with test automation and writing well-structured and clean code.
• Learn new things every day and share your knowledge with the team and the outside world.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• You are highly proficient in building user-facing web applications with React or Next.js, and modern CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS made for scale and last.
• You work collaboratively with your colleagues and consider what is best for the team. You have exceptional communication skills and can work effectively in a distributed team and a remote-first environment. You value diversity and inclusion.
• You think creatively, are solution‑oriented, adaptable to change, and strive to learn continuously.
• You write well‑structured and tested code, create reusable components, know to build responsive designs, and find joy in constantly improving the user experience.
• You have experience in API design with GraphQL and testing with Cypress is a plus.
  Experience with AWS Serverless and DevOps is desirable.

We are a remote‑first company. You can either work out of our headquarters in Berlin or remotely. Choose the setup that works best for you. Remote locations should be within +/- 3 hours of CET time. We regularly get together at co‑location weeks to strengthen a great culture across geographies.
