Understand.ai in Karlsruhe, Germany, is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer responsible for implementing the front- and backends of our web applications and reliable cloud services. You will build scalable web apps in an experienced team, create efficient UIs, write clean, tested code, participate in code reviews and pair programming, and help set up integration pipelines.

You are delivering great usable web UIs and reliable cloud services. As a team, we build, ship and operate our product to make AI accessible for real-world applications.

What will you need to be successful?

• You have an university degree in Computer Science (or similar) or a track record of successfully completed projects
• You have strong software engineering skills and several years professional experience
• You are eager to learn and open-minded
• You have passion for building the full stack of web applications and writing clean code
• You are familiar with agile software development
• You raise concerns over code quality or lacking test cases and fix problems once you see them
• You have good English communication skills, both written and verbal
