Next Ventures in Munich is seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a fast-moving product engineering team building and scaling a modern software platform. You will work across frontend, backend, architecture, and platform topics, owning technical initiatives from concept to production with autonomy in a self-organised environment.

AI-assisted development is a core part of the environment, and you will evaluate AI-generated code for quality, security, and cost.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong full-stack development across backend and frontend.
• Experience with multiple programming languages and quick ramp-up in unfamiliar stacks.
• Experience with Go, Java, Kotlin, and/or Spring Boot.
• Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and modern frontend development.
• Understanding of software architecture, system design, and component interactions.

Senior Full-Stack Engineer - Munich

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Engineer to join a fast-moving product engineering team building and scaling a modern software platform.

You will work across frontend, backend, architecture, and platform topics, taking ownership of technical initiatives from initial concept through to production. The team is looking for a broad, adaptable engineer who can understand how complex systems fit together rather than specialising exclusively in one part of the stack.

AI-assisted development is a core part of the engineering environment. You will be expected to use modern AI tools effectively to accelerate development while applying strong engineering judgement around architecture, code quality, security, and cost.

This role is ideal for a highly autonomous engineer with strong full-stack capabilities, architectural experience, an interest in security, and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and programming languages.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with technical ability and breadth valued more highly than years of experience alone.
• Strong Full-Stack software development experience across both backend and frontend technologies.
• Experience with multiple programming languages and the ability to quickly become productive in unfamiliar technology stacks.
• Experience with multiple backend technologies such as Go, Java, Kotlin, and/or Spring Boot.
• Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and modern frontend development.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and how different components of a software platform interact.
• Experience or a strong technical interest in application security, authentication, authorisation, IAM, or secure software development.
• Practical experience using modern AI-assisted software development tools and workflows.
• Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code and make independent technical and architectural decisions.
• Strong ownership mentality with the ability to organise and drive technical work independently.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving product environment where technologies and requirements can evolve quickly.
