Zusammenfassung

Avelios is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineering Lead to drive technical leadership at the intersection of sales, technology and hospital operations. You will lead the FDE team, own solution architecture across key projects, and ensure scalable, high-quality clinical software solutions from discovery to deployment.

With a CS degree and extensive enterprise architecture experience, you will mentor engineers, set standards, and advise CIOs and IT leads during complex deals.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
• Extensive experience in solution architecture, ideally in complex B2B / enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in system architecture, APIs, and integration design.
• Deep understanding of IT infrastructure (cloud, on-premise, networking, security, VPN, etc.).
• Experience with clinical or hospital IT systems is a strong plus.
• Proven experience in leading or mentoring technical teams.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent German (must-have) and strong English skills.

THE TEAM AND YOUR ROLE

As a Forward Deployed Engineering Lead (all genders) for clinical software solutions, you take on a strategic and leadership role at the intersection of sales, technology, and hospital operations.

You are responsible for leading and developing the Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) function, while ensuring the delivery of scalable, high-quality, and customer-centric solutions. You work closely with sales, engineering, product, and project teams, and act as a trusted technical advisor to both internal stakeholders and enterprise customers.
