Avelios is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer for clinical software solutions. You work at the intersection of sales, technology and hospital operations, combining architectural expertise with knowledge of clinical and administrative processes to support customers from initial product presentations through ongoing projects.

Collaborating with engineering, product, project management and sales, you develop customer-specific and technically feasible solution concepts.

Qualifikationen

• Completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
• Strong understanding of APIs, interfaces, and system architecture.
• Knowledge of core IT and infrastructure concepts (e.g. cloud, on-premise, VPN, networking).
• Experience with clinical or administrative IT system landscapes in hospital environments (preferred).
• Structured and analytical mindset.
• Very good German language skills and good English.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical support to the sales team throughout the entire sales cycle.
• Analyze clinical, administrative and technical customer requirements.
• Create technical concepts, documentation, and solution descriptions for proposals and tenders.
• Define and align system architectures, APIs and interfaces.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, project and DevOps.
• Act as the primary technical contact for customers during sales and project phases.
• Support public and private tender processes.

THE TEAM AND YOUR ROLE

As a Forward Deployed Engineer (all genders) for clinical software solutions, you work at the intersection of sales, technology, and hospital operations. You combine technical architecture expertise with an understanding of clinical and administrative processes and support customers from initial product presentations through ongoing projects. Working closely with engineering, project and product management and sales, you develop customer‑specific and technically feasible solution concepts.

YOUR TASKS

• Providing technical support to the sales team throughout the entire sales cycle
• Analyzing clinical, administrative, and technical customer requirements
• Creating technical concepts, documentation, and solution descriptions for proposals and tenders
• Defining and aligning system architectures, APIs, and interfaces
• Collaborating closely with engineering, product, project and DevOps
• Acting as the primary technical contact for customers during sales and project phases
• Supporting public and private tender processes

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
• Strong understanding of APIs, interfaces, and system architecture
• Knowledge of core IT and infrastructure concepts (e.g. cloud, on-premise, VPN, networking)
• Ideally, experience with clinical or administrative IT system landscapes in hospital environments
