Job summary

Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) is seeking an experienced professional in Facility Management and Real Estate to join our on-site team in Manching, supporting strategic projects with Airbus in Germany.

You will lead renovation and infrastructure programs, manage budgets and KPIs, and drive sustainability initiatives within FMRE, using AI-driven reporting tools.

A permanent German contract is offered, with relocation and accommodation support, language training, and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or Real Estate Management.
• Hands-on PM, FM, and Real Estate experience.
• Strong budget tracking and cost control skills.
• English (B2/C1) and German (B1/B2) proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate building renovation and infrastructure projects from planning to delivery.
• Manage project budgets, costs, schedules, KPIs, and controlling activities.
• Support sustainability and decarbonization initiatives within FMRE.
• Prepare management reports and presentations using AI-driven tools.
• Drive process improvements and AI-based solutions across FMRE.
• Support audits, strategic infrastructure projects, and Steering Committees.
• Act as the key interface between stakeholders, FMRE teams, and management.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate building renovation and infrastructure projects from planning to delivery.

• Manage project budgets, costs, schedules, KPIs, and controlling activities.

• Drive process improvements, digitalization, and AI-based solutions across FMRE activities.

• Support audits, strategic infrastructure projects, and Steering Committees.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

What we’re looking for:

• Master's Degree or Diploma in:

  • Industrial Engineering (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen), or Real Estate Management / Property Management, or a related field.

• Relevant hands-on experience in Project Management, solid experience in Facility Management, solid experience in Real Estate / Property Management.

• Strong experience in Project Controlling, including budget tracking and cost control.

• B2/C1 English Level – mandatory.

• B1/B2 German Level – mandatory.

• Applicants must hold citizenship of a European country.
