Zusammenfassung

Mercury Engineering is seeking a procurement professional to lead equipment, materials and services purchasing for complex construction projects across Europe.

You will manage the end-to-end procurement to pay process, source suppliers, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery and quality. Regular reporting and stakeholder liaison are essential, with some European travel required.

Qualifikationen

• Min 3 years’ experience in a similar role within an engineering or construction company.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Work well as part of a team towards a common goal.
• Negotiating experience.
• A third level qualification preferably in supply chain or other related discipline.
• Previous SAP experience.
• Knowledge of Tool and plant for construction an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Purchase and hire equipment, materials and/or services for assigned projects.
• Responsible for procurement to pay process from sourcing to assisting with invoice clearance.
• Supplier sourcing and negotiations.
• Secure the quality and timely delivery of goods and/or services required for assigned projects.
• Conducting bid analysis and processing of purchase orders.
• Create & maintain Procurement Schedules with project teams and planning function.
• Liaison with suppliers and accounts payable team regarding invoice queries.
• Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as sites and suppliers.
• Negotiate vendor alliances and rebate agreements.
• Assist in the reallocation or disposal of excess Plant or equipment.
• Ensure that the Authority Matrix is followed stringently.
• Conduct site visits to meet with project teams. Some European travel required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Line Manager
