Job summary

BEAT81 is expanding to Stuttgart and seeks a Fitness Manager to own the studio experience from day one. You will orchestrate the local freelance coach network, ensure a best-in-class studio environment, and build BEAT81’s presence in the Stuttgart fitness community.

You’ll manage launch operations, collaborate with expansion and central teams, and adapt to a hybrid work model with early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in structured group fitness coaching (HIIT / functional training) at a high standard.
• Experience in group fitness leadership or mentoring coaches.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail; manage multiple priorities.
• Hands-on builder mindset; first permanent member on ground in a new BEAT81 city.
• Excellent communication with coaches, customers, and central teams.
• Fluent German and English (B1/B2).
• Comfort with non-traditional schedule (early mornings/evenings/weekends).

Responsibilities

• Gather insights from the studio and share with Fitness and Product teams for improvements.
• Help establish a positive local coach network and launch experience in Stuttgart.
• Own the studio experience; ensure a seamless, safe, inviting environment.
• Oversee equipment condition, inventory, and orders with local Ops team.
• Grow BEAT81 locally by engaging with Stuttgart fitness community.

BEAT81 is coming to Stuttgart! We are opening our first studio in the city (CIRCUIT format, right in the city centre) in late 2026, and we are looking for a Fitness Manager to become the face of BEAT81 in Stuttgart.

This is a hybrid role: you own the local coach community and carry overall responsibility for the studio experience. During the launch phase you work hand in hand with our Expansion team and take over from our Expansion Fitness Manager after a structured onboarding; once the studio is live, it is yours. You are the first permanent BEAT81 team member on the ground in a brand-new city, so you get to build things right from day one.

You will

Freelancer collaboration & launch support

• Support the launch of our local freelance coach network by coordinating try-outs, launch events and the operational onboarding process for new collaborators during the studio opening phase.
• Act as the local point of contact for general operational questions from freelance coaches and facilitate communication between coaches and the central BEAT81 teams where needed.
• Gather insights from the studio by collecting feedback from freelance coaches and members and sharing relevant observations with the central Fitness and Product teams to support continuous improvement.
• Help establish a positive local coach network by supporting community initiatives and contributing to a great launch experience in Stuttgart.

Studio ownership

• Own the studio experience: carry overall responsibility for a seamless, safe, and inviting studio. Most customers in Stuttgart will experience BEAT81 for the very first time, and their first impression is yours to shape.
• Steer studio upkeep: oversee equipment condition, inventory, and orders, coordinating with our local Facility & Operations support for hands-on maintenance tasks.
• Grow BEAT81 locally: build relationships within the Stuttgart fitness community and support local growth initiatives.

You have

• Experience in structured group fitness coaching (HIIT / functional training) at a high standard.
• Experience in group fitness leadership or working alongside other fitness professionals; you know how to mentor and support coaches.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail; you manage multiple priorities on the go and nothing slips through the cracks.
• A hands-on builder mindset: you are excited (not scared) by being the first permanent person on the ground in a new BEAT81 city.
• Excellent communication skills with coaches, customers, and central teams alike.
• Fluent German and at least B1/B2 English.
• Comfort with a non-traditional schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends when the studio needs you.

Nice to have

• Certification in sports science, personal training, or a related field.
• Experience building or guiding high-performing coaching teams.
• Familiarity with fitness-tech, gamification, or boutique fitness concepts.
