Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Auto Claims Adjuster to handle inbound claims from policyholders and third-party customers, leveraging claims management tools and AI-assisted workflows to resolve cases efficiently.

You will investigate medical bills, apply Property & Casualty coverage knowledge, coordinate with vendors and internal partners, and maintain high-quality customer service while complying with data protection standards.

• Provide claims service via various channels to policyholders and third-party customers
• Investigate and resolve medical bills associated with first-party injuries
• Apply knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance products, policy contracts, coverages, and claims-handling procedures
• Apply General Motors Insurance claims-handling processes and procedures
• Partner with and/or direct vendors and internal business partners to facilitate claims resolution
• Support business objectives and deliver high-quality customer service
• Contribute to business goals and performance metrics
• Effectively use technology, claims management tools, and multiple communication channels

Requirements

• Experience in an inbound phone-intensive, contact center environment using a headset
• Knowledge of building lasting relationships with internal and external customers and business partners
• Computer literacy in a Windows operating environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to implement and adapt to rapid change
• Creative, innovative and forward-thinking mindset
• Ability to navigate and work in multiple systems simultaneously
• Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support daily work
• Skills in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias
• Experience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency or insights
• Familiarity with AI-assisted research, summarization, and content generation
• Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection
• 2+ years of auto claims adjusting experience required
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Insurance Adjuster License required
• Current experience in TX, IL, GA, OH, AZ, IN, or CA strongly preferred
• 2+ years of customer service experience preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred
