Job summary

Siemens Smart Infrastructure Buildings is seeking a Fire Suppression Systems Expert to provide end-to-end technical support, design tailored solutions in pre-sales, and drive continuous improvement across EMEA. You will train stakeholders, manage escalations, and support on-site commissioning to ensure customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree (or Bachelor with strong experience) and have deep knowledge of inert gas, CO₂, and water suppression systems, plus relevant

Qualifications

• Many years of experience in fire suppression.
• Experience in fire protection and/or fire safety systems.
• Knowledge of inert gas, CO2, and water suppression systems.
• Familiar with EN, ISO, VdS, LPCB, NFPA standards.
• Experience in technical support, pre-sales consulting, commissioning, complaint management.
• Ability to train stakeholders and communicate in international environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support and manage escalations for complex fire suppression systems across the EMEA region.
• Consult customers and partners in pre-sales; design tailored solutions and support proposals.
• Oversee complaint and quality management; perform root cause analyses and collaborate with engineering.
• Deliver technical training and knowledge transfer to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the commissioning of suppression systems on-site and guide project execution for customer satisfaction.

You’ll make an impact by

• You provide expert technical support and manage escalations for complex fire suppression systems across the EMEA region, ensuring swift and effective resolution of technical issues
• Building on this, you consult customers and partners in pre-sales phases, design tailored solutions, and support the preparation of technical proposals
• Subsequently, you oversee complaint and quality management processes, conduct root cause analyses, and collaborate closely with engineering and quality teams to drive continuous improvement
• Additionally, you deliver technical training and knowledge transfer to internal and external stakeholders, strengthening expertise within the organization
• Finally, you support the commissioning of suppression systems on-site and offer strategic guidance throughout project execution to secure customer satisfaction and project success

This Is How You'll Win Us Over

• Education: You hold a Master’s degree with initial relevant experience or a Bachelor’s degree with several years of professional experience in engineering; alternatively, you have completed a technical vocational training with further qualification as a technician and extensive expertise plus long-term experience
• Experience & Skills:
  • Many years of experience in fire suppression. Ideally combined with additional experience in fire protection and/or fire safety systems
  • In-depth knowledge of inert gas, CO₂, and water suppression systems as well as relevant fire protection standards (EN, ISO, VdS, LPCB, NFPA)
  • Proven expertise in technical support, pre‑sales consulting, commissioning, complaint management, and stakeholder training in an international environment
• Ways of working: You demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and excellent communication and consulting abilities
• Languages: You are fluent in German and English
