Job summary

Siemens AG in Munich seeks a Fire Suppression Systems Expert (f/m/d) to provide expert technical support across the EMEA region, handling escalations and consulting on pre-sales activities.

You will lead root cause analyses with engineering teams, deliver on-site commissioning, and train internal and external stakeholders while driving continuous improvement and high customer satisfaction.

Fluency in German and English, plus a strong background in fire suppression systems, are required.

Qualifications

• Many years of experience in fire suppression.
• Experience in fire protection and/or fire safety systems is a plus.
• Proven expertise in technical support and pre-sales consulting in an international environment.
• Experience in commissioning, complaint management and stakeholder training.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a customer-oriented mindset

You'll make an impact by

• You provide expert technical support and manage escalations for complex fire suppression systems across the EMEA region, ensuring swift and effective resolution of technical issues
• Building on this, you consult customers and partners in pre-sales phases, design tailored solutions, and support the preparation of technical proposals
• Subsequently, you oversee complaint and quality management processes, conduct root cause analyses, and collaborate closely with engineering and quality teams to drive continuous improvement
• Additionally, you deliver technical training and knowledge transfer to internal and external stakeholders, strengthening expertise within the organization
• Finally, you support the commissioning of suppression systems on-site and offer strategic guidance throughout project execution to secure customer satisfaction and project success

This is how you'll win us over

• Education: You hold a Master's degree with initial relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree with several years of professional experience in engineering; alternatively, you have completed a technical vocational training with further qualification as a technician and extensive expertise plus long-term experience
• Experience & Skills:
• Many years of experience in fire suppression. Ideally combined with additional experience in fire protection and/or fire safety systems
• In-depth knowledge of inert gas, CO₂, and water suppression systems as well as relevant fire protection standards (EN, ISO, VdS, LPCB, NFPA)
• Proven expertise in technical support, pre-sales consulting, commissioning, complaint management, and stakeholder training in an international environment
• Ways of working: You demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and excellent communication and consulting abilities
• Languages: You are fluent in German and English
