Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Product Developer (f/m/d) in Rastatt to design and optimize gas valves and actuators, ensuring that design specifications are met with your technical expertise.

You will perform CAD-based calculations and FEM simulations, create detailed drawings, and conduct tests. You will collaborate with manufacturing teams and suppliers to ensure manufacturable, high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable field and several years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in development and optimization of mechanical components, preferably valves and actuators.
• Proficient in CAD software (NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and FEM analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize gas valves and actuators for diverse applications, ensuring design specifications are met.
• Perform mechanical calculations and simulations using CAD tools and FEM analysis to validate concepts.
• Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for production transition.
• Conduct thorough tests and analyses to confirm product quality and performance before release.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams and suppliers to ensure designs are manufacturable and manage sourcing timelines.
