Zusammenfassung

Leonardo Hotels Head Office Berlin is seeking a Financial Reporting & Capex Analyst (d/f/m) to join our Berlin-based team. You will support IFRS and German GAAP reporting for German entities and monitor capital expenditure across the hotel portfolio.

This role offers a 38-hour week, 30 vacation days, home office options, bonus, and employee discounts, with an international environment at Landsberger Allee 117a in Berlin. ACCA-qualified candidates with IFRS expertise are encouraged to apply.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate or related field.
• ACCA qualification.
• Sound IFRS and HGB/German GAAP knowledge.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• Fluent German and English (C1).

Aufgaben

• Support quarterly and annual financial reporting for German entities.
• Prepare and review IFRS, management reporting, and HGB/Gaap packs.
• Assist month-, quarter-, and year-end closing.
• Analyze financial results, variances, and key movements vs budget and forecast.
• Coordinate reporting inputs between German head office and other country teams.
• Monitor intercompany balances and financial flows.
• Support controls, reporting discipline, and documentation.
• Monitor Capex projects: refurbishment costs, budgets, milestones.

Your Main Duties

Investment & Transaction Analysis

• Support quarterly and annual financial reporting for German entities
• Prepare and review reporting packages under IFRS, management reporting, and HGB / German GAAP
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
• Analyse financial results, variances, and key movements versus budget, forecast, and prior periods
• Support reconciliations between local statutory accounts, IFRS reporting, and management reporting
• Coordinate financial reporting inputs between the German head office and finance teams in another country
• Monitor intercompany balances, reporting consistency, allocations, and financial flows between Germany and other jurisdictions
• Support internal controls, reporting discipline, and documentation of key financial processes

Capex & Refurbishment Project Monitoring

• Monitor refurbishment, renovation and capital expenditure projects across the hotel portfolio
• Track actual project costs against approved budgets and identify variances
• Follow project progress against approved timelines and milestones
• Review project spent against financing agreements, purchase agreements and approved business plans
• Monitor contractor claims, budget overruns, scope changes and key project risks
• Coordinate with project managers, banks, asset managers, hotel operations and external advisors
• Prepare recommendations and escalation points where corrective action is required

Your Profile

• German and English Language skills (at least C1)
