A global finance consultancy in Hessen is seeking a skilled IFRS Controller to manage financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance with IFRS and HGB standards. The role involves driving process improvements and supporting ERP developments in a multicultural environment. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in accounting or auditing, ideally from a Big 4 firm, and be fluent in German and English. We are looking for a highly skilled IFRS Controller (m/w/d) to join our European finance team. In this role, you will manage financial reporting, consolidation, and controlling for multiple subsidiaries across Europe, ensuring compliance with IFRS and HGB standards. You will also drive process improvements, support ERP developments, and act as a key partner for international finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports according to IFRS and internal deadlines (fast close).
• Consolidate financial data from global subsidiaries and analyze performance trends.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, IFRS, and HGB standards.
• Manage and reconcile group-wide intercompany transactions and eliminations.
• Support internal controls implementation and coordinate with external auditors.
• Drive continuous improvement of reporting tools, processes, and controlling systems (SAP BW/SAC).
• Contribute to ERP system developments, particularly SAP S/4HANA.
• Collaborate with international finance teams, providing guidance on reporting standards.

Qualifications
