Job summary

Hangzhou Ruze E‑Commerce is expanding its European finance operations and seeks a skilled professional based in Düsseldorf to own cross-border finance and VAT compliance work. You will handle end-to-end month-end close, intercompany alignment, and VAT filings across multiple European markets.

The role requires strong accuracy, bilingual or multilingual communication in a multinational team, and the ability to coordinate with the China head office on financial controls and reporting.

Qualifications

• Cross-border European finance and VAT compliance experience required.
• Strong knowledge of marketplace settlements and inventory reconciliation preferred.
• Proficiency in German (B2+) and English; Chinese language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Month-end accounting and reconciliation for European entities; reconcile marketplace revenue, refunds, commissions and platform fees (Amazon, Otto, AliExpress).
• Reconcile logistics, warehousing and cross-border inventory data (FBA / overseas warehouse).
• Manage EU VAT data preparation; collaborate with local tax accountants for filings across DE/FR/IT/ES/UK.

Job Responsibilities

• Month‑end accounting & reconciliation for European entities; reconcile marketplace revenue, refunds, commissions and platform fees (Amazon, Otto, AliExpress)
• Reconcile logistics, warehousing and cross‑border inventory data (FBA / overseas warehouse)
• Manage EU‑VAT related data preparation, collaborate with local tax accountants for filings across DE/FR/IT/ES/UK
• Review finance‑tax risks for cross‑border sales, EU intra‑community transactions and import‑export business
• Regular finance alignment with China head‑office
• Practical knowledge of marketplace settlement, logistics & inventory reconciliation
• German B2+ and fluent English and Native Chinese
