We are supporting our UK client to hire a Finance Manager to be based out of their Berlin office.

ESSENTIAL IS GERMAN FLUENT SPEAKING AND WRITING SKILLS

Salary 60,000-70,000 (euros) plus benefits, hybrid working

This would be a great opportunity for someone to step up into a more senior role that might be working in a Financial Accounting role or similar.

Key duties

• Development and maintenance of strong financial controls
• Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations
• Ownership of the financial close
• Journal posting
• Business Partnering
• Support external audit and regulatory reporting production

This role is quite mixed so does involve reporting and business partnering but also requires the end production of the monthly financials through posting journals i.e. accruals/prepayments etc. THEREFORE THE ABOVE EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL AND MUST BE CLEARLY DEMONSTRATED
