Zusammenfassung

FormFactor Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot and repair wafer probers at customer sites across the EMEA region. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, provide on-site and remote support, and cooperate with other teams to improve products.

Qualified candidates bring an electrical/engineering background, 2–4 years of related experience, and strong German and English communication skills. Travel and a valid driving license are required.

Qualifikationen

• Engineer or technician in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology or similar.
• 2–4 years of experience in a similar field, ideally in Silicon Photonics and/or semiconductor test.
• Detail-oriented work and strong problem-solving skills.
• Accuracy, punctuality, good team and interpersonal skills.

Aufgaben

• Supporting our Wafer Probe System product.
• Installation & commissioning of probers and accessories, including final acceptance according to test and acceptance regulations.
• Independent execution of preventive & corrective maintenance at the customer's site in the service area EMEA.
• Preparation of commissioning protocols and acceptance reports.
• Technical training and instruction of customers.
• Troubleshooting and repair of our probers both as remote / telephone support and at the customer's site.
• Timely processing and documentation of work orders and service calls according to FormFactor guidelines.
• Actively collaborate with other FormFactor departments to ensure continuous improvement of products.
• Regular participation in qualification measures.
• Adherence to all health and safety requirements both internally and during customer service calls.

What You Should Bring With You

• Engineer or technician in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology or similar
• At least 2-4 years of experience in a similar field of activity is typically required, ideally in Silicon Photonics and/or semiconductor test
• Detail-oriented work and strong problem-solving skills
• Accuracy, punctuality, good team and interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills in German and English both verbally and in writing
• Good knowledge of common MS Office applications
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel required
