Zusammenfassung

FormFactor Inc. is seeking a Silicon Photonics Specialist Field - Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot and repair wafer probers at customer sites across the EMEA region.

You will lead preventive and corrective maintenance, train customers and prepare reports, while collaborating with internal teams to improve products. German and English communication skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Engineer or technician with a technical degree in electrical engineering, automation or similar.
• 2–4 years of related experience preferred, ideally in Silicon Photonics or semiconductor test.
• Strong problem-solving, accuracy and teamwork skills; good MS Office knowledge.

Aufgaben

• Support Silicon Photonics Wafer Probe System products at customer sites.
• Install and commission probers and accessories, including final acceptance tests.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on site in the EMEA region.
• Prepare commissioning protocols and acceptance reports; train customers.
• Troubleshoot and repair probers remotely and on site; document work orders.
• Collaborate with other FormFactor departments for product improvements; comply with safety rules.

Job Description:

Silicon Photonics Specialist Field - Service Engineer (m/f/d) /

who performs installations, troubleshooting and repairs at our customers' sites.

In our company, your core responsibilities include:

• Supporting our Silicon Photonics Wafer Probe System product
• Installation & commissioning of probers and accessories, including final acceptance according to test and acceptance regulations
• Independent execution of preventive & corrective maintenance at the customer’s site in the service area EMEA
• Preparation of commissioning protocols and acceptance reports
• Technical training and instruction of customers
• Troubleshooting and repair of our probers both as remote / telephone support and at the customer’s site
• Timely processing and documentation of work orders and service calls according to FormFactor guidelinesActively collaborate with other FormFactor departments to ensure continuous improvement of products
• Regular participation in qualification measures
• Adherence to all health and safety requirements both internally and during customer service calls

What you should bring with you:

• Engineer or technician in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology or similar
• At least 2-4 years of experience in a similar field of activity is typically required, ideally in Silicon Photonics and/or semiconductor test
• Detail-oriented work and strong problem-solving skills
• Accuracy, punctuality, good team and interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills in German and English both verbally and in writing
• Good knowledge of common MS Office applications
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel required
