Zusammenfassung

FormFactor Inc. is seeking a Field - Service Engineer (m/f/d) to perform installations, troubleshooting and repairs at our customers' sites across the EMEA region in Germany.

You will install and commission probers and accessories, and provide preventive and corrective maintenance. The role requires an engineering/technical background, 2–4 years' experience in semiconductor test or Silicon Photonics, and fluency in German and English, with travel and driving licence required.

Qualifikationen

• Engineer or technician in electrical engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years experience in similar activity, silicon photonics or semiconductor test preferred.
• Detail-oriented, strong problem-solving, and good communication in German and English.

Aufgaben

• Support Wafer Probe System products and perform installation and commissioning of probers and accessories.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance at customer sites in EMEA region.
• Prepare commissioning protocols and acceptance reports; train customers.
• Troubleshoot and repair probers remotely and on-site; document work orders.

Job Description

Field - Service Engineer (m/f/d) /

who performs installations, troubleshooting and repairs at our customers' sites.

In Our Company, Your Core Responsibilities Include

• Supporting our Wafer Probe System product
• Installation & commissioning of probers and accessories, including final acceptance according to test and acceptance regulations
• Independent execution of preventive & corrective maintenance at the customer's site in the service area EMEA
• Preparation of commissioning protocols and acceptance reports
• Technical training and instruction of customers
• Troubleshooting and repair of our probers both as remote / telephone support and at the customer's site
• Timely processing and documentation of work orders and service calls according to FormFactor guidelines
• Actively collaborate with other FormFactor departments to ensure continuous improvement of products
• Regular participation in qualification measures
• Adherence to all health and safety requirements both internally and during customer service calls

What You Should Bring With You

• Engineer or technician in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology or similar
• At least 2-4 years of experience in a similar field of activity is typically required, ideally in Silicon Photonics and/or semiconductor test
• Detail-oriented work and strong problem-solving skills
• Accuracy, punctuality, good team and interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills in German and English both verbally and in writing
• Good knowledge of common MS Office applications
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel required
