Galatek Life Sciences seeks a Field Application/Service Engineer to deliver application support for laboratory automation and digital software products. You will install, configure, and maintain systems at customer sites, train users, and troubleshoot issues.

The role requires a Master’s degree, 3+ years of robotics/software engineering or related experience, and proficiency in Python/Java. English fluency is mandatory; Chinese is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or above in Bioengineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years’ experience as a robotics software engineer, automation service engineer, or in a similar technical support role.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language is required; strong proficiency in Python/Java is preferred. Experience working with vendor APIs and SDKs for laboratory equipment is a strong plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
• Interest in laboratory automation, life sciences, or digital engineering solutions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, comfortable in cross‑functional collaboration.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) – mandatory; Chinese language skills are a strong advantage.
• Previous experience in the life sciences industry is a strong plus.
