Aufgaben

Jobbeschreibung

EFI is looking for a Field Service Engineer (m/f/x) to join our service team in Germany, based in Frankfurt area. This is a hands‑on role, on the field (Germany, Switzerland and neighboring countries), being in contact with our customers fixing, installing EFI wide‑format digital printing machines. We have a good range of printing machines within the VuteK line. You will be the customer advocate and your role is key in EFI for ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing further to EFI product upselling.

What You Will Do

As a field service engineer your role is a mix between being on the field (Germany also Switzerland and neighboring countries), driving to customers, installing the printing machines, fixing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, software and neumatical issues of the machine. No day will be the same with the previous one and helping the customers on a daily basis will give you a feeling of satisfaction.

Sometimes the support to customers can be done remote too: via phone, computer and also sometimes we do have also trade‑show and printing exhibitions where we will need your help with set‑up, calibrations, demonstration and tear‑down.

It is a role where you will work independently and building good relationship with the owners, managers and user from the customers side, but also supported by your team remotely.

What Skills You Should Have

• Relevant technical apprenticeship or technical qualification or degree in electrical / instrumentation / mechanical / process disciplines preferred.
• Good knowledge in mechanical and electrical skills.
• Good communication skills in German and English.
• Willing to stay overnight near our clients, during training sessions, and at trade shows.
• Up to 3 years post qualification experience in a service or similar position servicing complex electro‑mechanical devices.
• Ability to work independently with minimum back‑up when necessary.
• Driving licence (Class B or equivalent).
• Work well alone or as part of a team.
