We're looking for a self-motivated Field Service Engineer to help a growing business increase its footprint in Eastern Germany, supporting key semiconductor customers in the region. This is a new position created to bring their service and support closer to our customers in the region.

You’ll start by getting an understanding of how the company works - spending your first months across departments and shadowing experienced colleagues on installations across Europe - before growing into independent installation and service work. If you’re an experienced technician or engineer with a background in electronics or electrical systems, a curious mindset, and you’re looking for a role with real ownership and variety, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Installing new systems at customer sites across Europe
• Carrying out annual maintenance, service visits, and troubleshooting on existing systems
• Working hands-on with electrical cabinets, sensors, and readers (roughly 70% of the role is electrical/electronic)
• Supporting and troubleshooting in-house developed software in the field
• Applying creative, pragmatic problem-solving rather than following the manual step by step
• Creating service documentation and contributing to know-how management system
• Building strong, trusted relationships with customers on-site

What We’re Looking For

• Around 5 years of relevant field experience after training - ideally as a Field Service Engineer or similar, used to travelling and being on-site with customers for several days at a time
• Completed training as an Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, or comparable, with a lean towards electrical/electronic rather than mechanical
• A background or interest in image correlation, cameras, or optical systems is a strong plus
• Cleanroom experience and familiarity with vibration isolation tables is helpful
• Self-motivated, proactive, and curious, with the confidence to work independently in a dynamic environment
• Strong communication skills and pride in the quality of your work
