Humanoid is seeking a Field Operations Team Lead to coordinate deployment, integration, and maintenance of humanoid robot solutions at customer facilities. Lead a field team, ensure SOPs, diagnose issues, and drive continuous improvements through data analysis.

The role requires a technical background in robotics/engineering, strong communication, and the ability to work at customer sites across Europe with EU work rights. Travel to sites in the UK and Europe is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or technical equivalent in robotics/engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, or automotive integration/deployment.
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, and networking systems with hands-on troubleshooting experience.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with Confluence, Jira or similar project management tools.
• Business-fluent English.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites in the UK/Europe and work in EU locations.
• Unrestricted right to work in the European Union.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Operations Team Lead to support the deployment, integration, and maintenance of our humanoid robot solutions at customer facilities. As the on-site operations lead, you will coordinate site activities, collect operational data, and supervise a team of Field Operations Associates. This position requires problem-solving skills, sound judgement under pressure, and a customer-centric approach.

What You'll Do

• Supervise a team of Field Operations Associates, setting and maintaining high standards in a demanding operational setting. This is a hands-on operational and technical leadership role representing Humanoid at customer sites.

• Act as the on-shift operational leader, ensuring that the appropriate tools, spare parts, and equipment are available.

• Supervise standard operating procedures (SOPs) for customer sites and document learnings from field issues.

• Test product releases and robot capabilities.

• Diagnose hardware and software issues using logs, diagnostics, and field observations, performing maintenance where appropriate.

• Collect, analyse, and interpret operational data to evaluate robot performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvements.

• Track, document, and reproduce software and hardware issues, providing clear technical feedback to engineering and product teams.

• Tackle production incidents and technical issues in cooperation with service and engineering teams.

• Act as the primary on-shift liaison between the deployed location and Humanoid offices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Engineering, or a comparable field (or technical equivalent).

• 2–5 years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, or automotive integration, deployment, and development.

• Strong technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, and networking systems, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting, assembly, and maintenance. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills, particularly in high-pressure operational environments.

• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently in dynamic customer environments.

• Familiarity with project management and collaboration software (Confluence, Jira, etc.).

• Business-fluent English.

• Flexibility to support future assignments at customer sites and occasional visits to company locations in the UK and Europe.

• Unrestricted right to work and live in the European Union.

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience in warehouse/logistics automation, industrial robotics, or humanoid robotics deployment.

• Working knowledge of a relevant local language (e.g. German).

• Valid Class B (or equivalent) driver's licence.

• Familiarity with software integration and sensor-based automation.

• Experience with commissioning, acceptance testing, or software validation.

• Experience working in complex operational environments.

• Experience working directly with customers in an operational leadership role.
