About #DAMUR
#DAMUR is a Berlin-based high-end streetwear label founded in 2015. We create gender-neutral fashion with bold cuts, upcycled materials, strong visual storytelling, and immersive runway formats connecting fashion, music, nightlife, sport, and culture.
Our collections have been shown during Berlin, Copenhagen, Paris, and Taipei Fashion Weeks. For SS27 and AW27 , we are looking for a hands-on Fashion Design Intern to support collection development, research, sampling, fittings, tech packs, and fashion-week preparation.
This is not an observing internship. You will work on real garments, real fittings, real deadlines, and real collection development.
What You’ll Do
- Research mood, market, materials, silhouettes, trims, and construction ideas
- Create sketches, flats, fabric / trim shortlists, and design development boards
- Support toiles, prototypes, samples, alterations, and fittings
- Draft or adjust patterns manually or digitally
- Prepare clear tech packs with measurements, BOMs, finishing notes, and construction details
- Track samples, deliveries, vendors, corrections, and fitting comments
- Support communication with makers and vendors in Germany, Poland, Taiwan, or other production locations
- Help organize fabric libraries, trims, samples, folders, file names, and version control
- Support runway showpieces, backstage sample management, and lookbook / line-sheet inputs
What Success Looks Like
30 days: Understand the #DAMUR design language, audit existing blocks / sample library, assist 2 fittings, prepare one mini tech pack, and follow file-naming standards.
60 days: Produce one toile or prototype from a brief, finalize one full tech pack with BOM and measurements, and shortlist 3 fabrics / 2 trims for development.
90 days: Prepare a 10–12 slide design deck showing concept, development, sample progress, learnings, and next steps.
3–6 months: Own one focused garment or small capsule from design development to pre-production handover, including pattern updates, spec sheet, fitting notes, and QC checklist.
