Pammys, the fast-growing D2C footwear brand, is seeking a Footwear Designer (m/f/d) to lead the entire design process from initial idea to final implementation, creating sketches, 3D models, and prototypes.

You will work closely with development, marketing, and production teams, integrate sustainable materials, and ensure aesthetics, usability, and quality across our expanding product range. Office-based in Hamburg or Kiel.

Job Description

Do you have an eye for aesthetics, combine creativity with technical understanding, and take real ownership in the design process? Would you like your designs to have a direct impact on product quality, innovation, and the growth of one of Europe's most exciting D2C footwear brands? Our footwear brand Pammys has grown to over 1 million customers in its first three years and has been named the fastest-growing e-commerce brand in Europe by the Financial Times. With a team of over 150 people at our locations in Kiel, Hamburg, and our own 11,500 m² logistics center in Lensahn we are building a global footwear brand that redefines style, comfort, and modern aesthetics. We are currently facing our next major growth phase—with the clear goal of further expanding our market position this year through internationalization and a significant expansion of our product portfolio. To achieve this, we are looking for a Footwear Designer (m/f/d) who will accompany the entire design process of our shoes – from the initial idea to concept development and final implementation. You will create sketches, 3D models, and prototypes, work closely with development, marketing, and production, and ensure that aesthetics, functionality, and user-friendliness blend perfectly.

Important: We are an office-first company. You will work daily in one of our offices in Hamburg or Kiel and be close to the team, the processes, and the brand.

Your mission

• Developing innovative product designs – from the initial sketch to the final product
• Co-design and implementation of designs as part of the significant expansion of our product range this year
• Working closely with development, marketing, and production teams to optimize products
• Researching current design trends and market requirements for continuous improvement
• Creating technical drawings and presentations
• Support in optimizing existing products in terms of design and user-friendliness

• Coordination and communication with suppliers and production partners to ensure quality and feasibility

Your profile

• Good written and spoken German and English skills
• Completed degree or training in product design, industrial design, fashion design, or similar
• Creativity and flair for design, shapes, colors, and materials (previous experience an advantage)
• Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills to collaborate closely with development, production, and marketing
• Structured and independent way of working
