ESMC GmbH in Dresden, Germany, is building Europe's first state-of-the-art semiconductor fab. As Facility Management Engineer for the Public Utility Service Department, you will establish and manage FM services for the office environment, select providers, and ensure high-quality workplace services.

You will coordinate with international teams across Europe, Taiwan and the US, manage contracts, monitor KPIs, and continuously improve service standards in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifikationen

  • Degree in Facility Management, Building Services Engineering or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Facility Management or similar environment.
  • Experience managing external service providers and service contracts.
  • Experience in office building operations and workplace services.
  • Technical understanding of building systems such as HVAC, electrical, water or building automation.
  • Fluent German and English skills.

For our future fab in Dresden, we are looking for a highly motivated and committed: Facility Management Engineer - PUSD (m/f/d) As a Facility Management Engineer (m/f/d), you will play a key role in establishing and managing Facility Management services for ESMC's office environment. You will be responsible for selecting, implementing, and managing external service providers while ensuring high-quality workplace services and positive employee experience. You will be part of ESMC's Facility Management team, supporting the development and management of workplace and facility services across ESMC's growing operations in Dresden.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage the selection, tendering and implementation of Facility Management service providers.
  • Lead contract negotiations in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and procurement teams.
  • Manage and monitor service contracts throughout their lifecycle.
  • Track service provider performance using defined KPIs and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and coordination meetings with service providers.
  • Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of service-related issues.
  • Oversee and coordinate facility-related services, including: Cleaning, Catering, Landscaping and gardening services. Waste and Parking as well as Office space and meeting room management.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations and a high level of workplace satisfaction.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of building infrastructure and technical systems.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders regarding facility-related technical topics.
  • Support the operation and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, water and building automation systems.
  • Support the establishment and continuous improvement of Facility Management processes and service structures.
  • Contribute to the development of service standards, performance monitoring and operational best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance service quality and user experience.
Your profile
  • Help build a completely new semiconductor manufacturing site in Europe. Work in a highly international environment with colleagues across Europe, Taiwan and the US.
  • Degree in Facility Management, Building Services Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Facility Management or a similar environment.
  • Experience managing external service providers and service contracts.
  • Experience in office building operations and workplace services.
  • Technical understanding of building systems, such as HVAC, electrical, water or building automation systems.
  • Fluent German and English skills.
