ESMC GmbH in Dresden is launching a Greenfield fab and seeks a Supply Chain Specialist / Material Planner to ensure the seamless flow of direct and indirect materials for the new site.

You will translate production needs into robust material plans, coordinate with global suppliers, and optimize SAP-driven workflows to enable efficient procurement. An intensive onboarding at TSMC Taiwan is required, with relocation support available.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 2+ years of experience in supply chain planning, material management, or logistics.
• Hands-on ERP experience (preferably SAP).
• Business-fluent English (C1) and German (C1).
• Willingness to complete intensive training of 3–6 months at TSMC Taiwan.
• Experience in semiconductor, chemical, or high-tech manufacturing is preferred.

Supply Chain Specialist / Material Planner (m/f/d)

You will join us as a Supply Chain Specialist / Material Planner to ensure the seamless flow of direct and indirect materials for our brand-new Fab in Dresden.

In this crucial role, you bridge the gap between production demands, global suppliers, and corporate functions. If you want to leverage your analytical mindset to build stable, highly efficient procurement processes from the ground up, this Greenfield project is your next career step.

Job Responsibilities

• Demand & Supply Planning: Consolidate demand requirements from internal Fab stakeholders and translate them into robust material supply plans.
• Material Availability: Ensure the timely delivery of qualified direct and indirect materials and services to secure uninterrupted Fab operations.
• Supplier Management: Monitor and drive supplier performance, actively communicating to guarantee on-time deliveries and optimal replenishment cycles.
• Procurement Strategy: Execute tailored procurement strategies in close collaboration with diverse supplier groups and global business units.
• System Administration: Maintain and optimize supply chain and ERP workflows (primarily SAP) for a highly efficient and stable procurement process.
• Continuous Improvement: Support cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing SCM processes and driving supply chain excellence.
• International Collaboration: Act as the central point of contact between local Fab users, external suppliers and corporate headquarters.

Your profile

Required:

• Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, IT, or a related field
• Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience in supply chain planning, material management, or logistics within an industrial environment
• Skills: Strong analytical capabilities combined with a structured, planning-oriented mindset and negotiation skills
• Systems: Hands-on experience working with ERP systems (ideally SAP)
• Languages: Business-fluent English (C1) and German (C1) to communicate effectively in our international team and with local partners
• International Onboarding: Willingness to complete an intensive training of 3-6 months at TSMC Taiwan
• Industry Experience: Prior experience in the semiconductor, chemical, or high-tech manufacturing sector is highly recommended
• Agility: A proactive, open-minded attitude with high learning agility, ideal for thriving in a dynamic Greenfield environment.
