Trane Technologies is seeking a Lean and Continuous Improvement professional to lead the introduction and sustainment of Lean principles, including 5S, value-stream analysis, and Standard Work. You will collaborate across production, logistics, quality, and engineering to standardize processes and reduce waste.

The role emphasizes facilitation, data-driven decision making, and driving a culture of continual improvement with a strong cross-functional focus.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in engineering, industrial engineering, business administration, or related field.
• Several years of experience in Lean Management, Operational Excellence, or continuous improvement.
• Strong knowledge of Lean methods (5S, Kaizen, Shopfloor Management, value stream mapping, Standard Work).
• Excellent workshop facilitation, analytics, and change-management skills.

Aufgaben

• Analyze existing processes to identify optimization potential.
• Introduce and audit Lean methods and 5S standards.
• Plan and lead Kaizen events, workshops, and training sessions.
• Support departments and leadership in implementing improvements.
• Develop and maintain standards, work instructions, and visual management concepts.
• Perform process observations and value-stream analyses.
• Define and monitor KPIs to measure Lean success.
• Drive change initiatives and foster a Lean culture.

Ziel der Position:

Der / die Stelleninhaber/in ist verantwortlich für die Einführung, Weiterentwicklung und nachhaltige Verankerung von Lean-Prinzipien und der 5S-Methodik im Unternehmen. Ziel ist es, Prozesse effizienter, transparenter und standardisierter zu gestalten, Verschwendung zu reduzieren sowie eine Kultur der kontinuierlichen Verbesserung zu fördern.

Hauptaufgaben:

• Analyse bestehender Prozesse und Identifikation von Optimierungspotenzialen
• Einführung, Umsetzung und Auditierung von Lean-Methoden und 5S-Standards
• Planung und Moderation von Workshops, Schulungen und Kaizen-Aktivitäten
• Unterstützung von Fachbereichen und Führungskräften bei der Implementierung von Verbesserungsmaßnahmen
• Entwicklung und Pflege von Standards, Arbeitsanweisungen und Visual‑Management‑Konzepten
• Durchführung von Prozessbeobachtungen und Wertstromanalysen
• Definition, Überwachung und Auswertung relevanter KPI zur Messung von Lean‑Erfolgen
• Begleitung von Veränderungsprozessen und Förderung einer Lean‑Kultur
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Produktion, Logistik, Qualität, Engineering und weiteren Schnittstellenbereichen

Anforderungsprofil:

• Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Ingenieurwesen, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, Betriebswirtschaft, Produktionstechnik oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Lean Management, Operational Excellence oder kontinuierlichen Verbesserungsprozessen
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in Lean-Methoden, insbesondere 5S, Kaizen, Shopfloor Management, Wertstromanalyse und Standard Work
• Erfahrung in der Moderation von Workshops und Schulungen
• Sicherer Umgang mit Kennzahlen, Analysewerkzeugen und Visual‑Management‑Methoden
• Erfahrungen im Produktions- oder industriellen Umfeld sind notwendig
• Ausgeprägte analytische und strukturierte Arbeitsweise
• Hohe Kommunikations- und Überzeugungsfähigkeit
• Englisch und Deutsch jeweils verhandlungssicher
• Moderations- und Veränderungskompetenz
• Eigeninitiative und Umsetzungsstärke
• Teamfähigkeit sowie bereichsübergreifendes Denken und Handeln
• Hohe Ergebnisorientierung und nachhaltiger Verbesserungsfokus
