Zusammenfassung

A financial regulatory authority in Germany seeks an experienced professional to contribute to banking legislation and resolution procedures. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in economics, finance, or mathematics and at least 5 years of professional experience. Expertise in banking regulation and financial stability is valued. Fluency in English and proficiency in either French or German is essential. The position requires representation in working groups and the ability to work independently and in teams.

  • Contribute to the application of European and national legislation related to credit institutions.
  • Represent the CSSF in working groups at the Single Resolution Board.
  • Contribute to the drafting and testing of resolution plans.
  • Participate in internal resolution teams under the SRB’s remit.

Role & responsibilities
  • Contribute to the application of European and national legislation in the context of the resolution of credit institutions, investment firms and central counterparties
  • Represent the CSSF in working groups at the Single Resolution Board (SRB) and help preparing the meetings of the decision-making bodies of the SRB
  • Contribute to the drafting of resolution plans, and their testing
  • Represent the CSSF in internal resolution teams (IRTs) under the SRB’s remit and / or in resolution colleges
Your profile
  • Master’s degree in economics, finance or mathematics (Bac+4 or Bac+5)
  • Professional experience of at least 5 years
  • In-depth knowledge of one or more of the following: banking regulation, prudential reporting, financial stability, and / or European legislation on banking resolution is considered an asset
  • Excellent command of English; good command of either French or German. Knowledge of Luxembourgish is considered an asset
  • Good writing and analytical skills
  • Good command of the usual IT tools
  • Ability to work in a team as well as to work independently
  • Availability for meetings abroad

The successful candidate (m / f) will be hired as public employee (“employé de l’Etat”) under a permanent contract. If the candidate meets the required conditions, s / he will be asked to apply for admission to the status of civil servant (“fonctionnaire de l’Etat”).

Prior to the conclusion of the contract, the candidate must submit an extract from the criminal record (bulletin n°3), dated less than 2 months, in order to prove their conduct and integrity.
