A leading engineering company in Dresden is seeking an Expert in Contract / Claim Management - Mechanical to manage significant project responsibilities, including subcontractor performance monitoring and claims management. The ideal candidate holds a degree in mechanical engineering, has experience in large-scale projects, and is proficient in English and German. The role requires a proactive approach and teamwork in a multidisciplinary environment. This position offers an opportunity to work on significant projects in the high-tech plant industry.

Qualifikationen

• Several years’ experience in project management in large-scale projects.
• Solid knowledge of HVAC and waste water systems.
• Experience with contracts according to VOB, BGB, or HOAI.
• Knowledge of handling contracts in accordance with VOB, BGB or HOAI is an advantage.
• Proficient in both English and German, spoken and written.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel nationally, with on-site work depending on the project phase.
• Decisiveness, openness to change, strong interpersonal skills, and a solution-oriented working style.

Aufgaben

• Monitor and control subcontractor performance on mechanical systems.
• Handle commercial aspects of subcontractor claims.
• Manage contract changes with subcontractors.
• Cooperate closely with project management teams.
• Minimizing risks that may arise from subcontractor delays through proactive planning and communication
• Negotiating contract conclusions
• Close cooperation with engineering, design, quality management, planning, and project management to ensure smooth project execution
• Continuous improvement management through regular feedback and implementation of lessons learned
• Regular reporting to the Project Procurement Manager

As an Expert Contract / Claim Management - Mechanical (m/f/d) in Procurement & Subcontract Management, you will be responsible for technically demanding work packages from contract award to project completion. Your tasks include monitoring and progress control of subcontractor performance, change order and change management, as well as claim management. • Completed technical education or degree in mechanical engineering or similar
