EXYTE GMBH is seeking a procurement and project management professional to lead all purchasing activities for a major project from tender through execution to closing. You will define strategy, guide cross-functional teams, and ensure timely delivery and payment processes.

The role requires travel nationwide, fluent English and German, and a hands-on, change-ready mindset to shape a multidisciplinary engineering project environment.

• Several years' experience in procurement and project management in large-scale projects.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and strong communication skills.
• Fluency in English and German, spoken and written.
• Flexibility to travel nationally, with on-site work depending on project phase.

• Provide functional leadership and guidance to all strategic buyers and subcontracting managers within a specific project.
• Ensure overall supply chain performance, timely delivery of materials, and the provision of services.
• Manage timely payment of supplier invoices and oversee claim management.
• Act as the central contact person for all purchasing functions and roles, representing them in the core project team.

Show your expertise

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Several years' experience in procurement and project management in large-scale projects.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and strong communication skills.
• Proficient in both English and German, spoken and written.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel nationally, with on-site work depending on the project phase.
• Decisiveness, openness to change, strong interpersonal skills, and a solution-oriented working style.
