Zusammenfassung

GlobalFoundries in Dresden seeks an Experienced Reliability Engineer to support qualification and reliability assessment of advanced semiconductor technologies. You will work closely with Technology Development, Manufacturing, and Design teams to ensure robust process reliability and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The role offers an open-ended contract with opportunities for relocation support, a 13th month salary, bonus payments, and an on-site gym and facilities.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree or PhD required in engineering or related field.
• Experience in semiconductor reliability engineering and technology development.
• Understanding of reliability failure mechanisms (HCI, NBTI, TDDB, electromigration).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

• Plan, execute, and analyze reliability qualification activities for semiconductor technologies and process changes.
• Design and characterize reliability test structures and models.
• Perform reliability assessments and failure analyses for development, fab excursions, and customer issues.
• Analyze reliability data and recommend improvements to robustness and reliability.
• Develop reliability models for device degradation and wear-out mechanisms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define reliability requirements for new tech.
• Drive improvements in reliability methodologies, test cycle time, data integrity, and documentation.
• Maintain reliability procedures, test methods, and technical documentation.
• Support EHS&S requirements and work practices.

Your Job

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in semiconductor reliability engineering, technology development, process integration, or device engineering.
• Understanding of semiconductor reliability failure mechanisms such as HCI, NBTI, TDDB, and Electromigration.
• Experience with reliability qualification, data analysis, and root cause investigations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
