GlobalFoundries in Dresden sucht einen Test Development Engineer zur Entwicklung von Testprogrammen und -hardware für die funktionale Prüfung von SOC-Geräten mit Speicher, NVM, Logik, Mixed-Signal und RF. Sie arbeiten an der Implementierung von Testkonzepten und -hardware bis zur Produktion.

Zu den Aufgaben gehören die elektrische Charakterisierung, Freigabeprozesse, Yield-Optimierung und Dokumentation. Die Position ist unbefristet und wird zeitnah besetzt.

Qualifikationen

• Abgeschlossenes Master-/Diplomstudium in Informatik/Kommunikationstechnik/Elektrotechnik/Physik oder vergleichbar
• Berufserfahrung im elektrischen Test von Vorteil
• Sehr gute Kenntnisse der elektronischen Messtechnik
• Programmierkenntnisse in C/C++/Java/Python
• Kenntnisse im Test-Hardware-Design (Schaltpläne, Sondenhardware) von Vorteil
• Kenntnisse im Memory-Test-Verfahren von Vorteil
• Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

Aufgaben

• Entwicklung von Testkonzepten, Testhardware und Testprogrammen für den Funktions-Tests von Geräten mit Speicher, NVM, Logik, Mixed-Signal/RF
• Elektrische Charakterisierung von NVM, Speicherlogik und Mixed-Signal/RF-Geräten zur Unterstützung von Technologieentwicklung, Yield-Engineering und Qualitätssicherung
• Installation, Korrelation und Freigabe von Testprogrammen und Testhardware für die Produktion
• Yield-Optimierung, Reduzierung der Testzeit und kontinuierliche Verbesserung des Testprozesses
• Erstellung von Testprojekt-Dokumentationen

Introduction

GlobalFoundries operates a Test Facility at the Dresden site. As part of the fab, Test is responsible for the functional testing of the manufactured wafers, known as wafer sorting. The development of test solutions for autonomous mobility, Industry 4.0 and 5G in Europe is an interesting and great challenge for which we would like to expand the team with an experienced Test Development Engineer.

Your Job

As a Test Engineer you will be responsible for the development of test programs and test hardware for the functional test of SOC devices with memory, NVM, logic and mixed signal as well as RF components and the transfer of the test programs into production. The work task includes:

• Development of test concepts, test hardware and test programs for the functional test of devices with memory, NVM, logic and mixed signal/RF components


• Electrical characterization of NVM, memory logic and mixed signal/RF devices to support our technology development, yield engineering and quality teams


• Installation, correlation and release of test programs and test hardware for production


• Yield optimization, test time reduction and continuous improvement of the test process


• Creation of test project documentation

Required Qualifications

• Completed Master’s Degree or Diploma in the fields of information technology/communications engineering/electrical engineering/physics or comparable


• Professional experience in electrical test beneficial


• Very good knowledge of electronic measurement methods


• Programming skills in C/C++/Java/Python


• Knowledge in test hardware design (schematics, probe hardware preparation) is an advantage


• Knowledge in memory test procedures is an advantage


• Very good written and spoken English skills
