Job summary

ProPosition Management Search presents an EHS Specialist role with a global leader in Fashion&Luxury and MedTech. You will standardize the EHS management system and implement group guidelines, interfacing with the EHS Manager across departments.

Requirements include a degree in health and safety or environmental engineering, up to 2 years in HSE, and fluency in German and English. ISO 45001/14001/50001 knowledge and SAP/MS Office proficiency are desirable.

Qualifications

• Degree in HSE or environmental field per German regulations.
• Knowledge of German health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Experience with Near Miss, First Aid, Unsafe Actions reporting tools.
• ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 familiarity is expected.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report injuries, near misses, unsafe acts/conditions.
• Update risk assessments to comply with local legislation.
• Participate in incident investigations and EHS meetings.
• Carry out EHS inspections and update action plans.
• Collect/report KPIs via EHS dashboards and Gensuite.
• Interface with functions on PPE selection and delivery.
• Promote EHS initiatives and track preventive actions.
• Collaborate with Environmental Manager on waste data.

Our Client, Global leader in the design, manufacturing and distribution of cutting-edge products in Fashion&Luxury and MedTech solutions Industry is currently looking for an:

EHS Specialist

The EHS Manager will be responsible for facilitating the standardization of EHS management system, ensuring full implementation of Group EHS guidelines, policies, and directives, in alignment with the relevant EHS Manager.

Areas of responsibility:

• Monitor and report injuries, near misses, unsafe acts/conditions using Group systems
• Update risk assessments documents in compliance with local legislation
• Participate in incident investigations (5W analysis) and EHS meetings
• Carry out EHS inspections in the production departments and Ensure updating of EHS action plans
• Collect and report KPIs via EHS dashboards and Gensuite
• Interface with company functions regarding the selection, delivery and verification of correct PPE
• Promote EHS initiatives across departments and track and report preventive and corrective actions
• Interface with the property’s Environmental Manager to collect environmental data on quantities of hazardous and non-hazardous special waste and regarding order and cleanliness of waste collection areas, EER labelling, etc.

Requirements:

• Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or similar in accordance with German legislation
• Up to 2 years of HSE experience (e.g., HSE Specialist, HSE Consultant)
• Knowledge of German health, safety and environmental legislation
• Knowledge of Near Miss, First Aid, Unsafe Actions and Conditions reporting tools
• ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, ISO 50001 Energy Management System
• Lean manufacturing / Six Sigma experience is a nice to have
• SAP and MS Office proficiency
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
• German and English fluent (Italian nice to have)

Salary Package: RAL Euro 50,000-60,000 + Benefits

Compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications.
