Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking an experienced EHS Leader to own Environmental, Health & Safety performance across a multi-site manufacturing footprint in Bavaria, including Selb, Landshut and Erndtebrück. You will shape safety strategy, environmental performance and site culture in collaboration with site leadership.

You will develop and implement EHS management systems, lead audits, and support operations with risk assessments, process changes and certifications.

Qualifications

• SiFa qualification or equivalent.
• Background in manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of occupational safety and environmental management.
• Experience with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, audits and management systems.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across multiple sites.
• Leadership experience is beneficial, though specialists seeking broader leadership are encouraged.
• Bilingual German and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Act as EHS lead and primary contact for multiple sites.
• Drive safety, environmental compliance and EHS performance.
• Develop and improve EHS management systems and processes.
• Support production and engineering with facility changes and risk assessments.

• Act as the EHS lead and primary point of contact for the Selb, Landshut and Erndtebrück sites.
• Drive occupational safety, environmental compliance, and EHS performance across all locations.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve EHS management systems, programmes and processes.
• Support production, engineering and operational teams with facility changes, equipment installations, risk assessments and process improvements.
• Lead EHS projects, audits and reporting activities while ensuring compliance with legal and corporate requirements.
• Partner with leadership teams to strengthen safety culture and embed EHS into day-to-day decision making.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies and support certifications, inspections and approvals.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit (SiFa) or equivalent.
• Background within a manufacturing, industrial, engineering, electronics, automotive or process-driven production environment.
• Strong knowledge of occupational safety and environmental management.
• Experience with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, audits and management systems.
• Able to influence stakeholders at all levels and drive change across multiple sites.
• Leadership experience is beneficial, although strong specialists looking to step into a broader leadership role are also encouraged to apply.
• Fluent German and professional English.
