• Supervise contractors or Engineering Operations Technicians to ensure proper operation and maintenance of facility equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement through standardization of procedures and policies; meet metrics.
• Provide training and guidance to staff and assist in recruiting efforts.
• Lead root-cause analysis for operational issues with SMEs to finalize mitigation strategies.

Key job responsibilities

• SAFETY
  • Follow and maintain the highest safety standards and diligently encourage a world‑class safety culture.
  • Remediate safety risks/issues with other teams, owning safety initiatives and projects to foster a strong safety culture.
• ENGINEERING & FACILITY OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE
  • Operational experience and familiarity with electrical and mechanical equipment, including UPS, Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, ATS, Diesel Generators, Chillers, HVAC, Exhaust Fans, VFDs, and Transformers.
  • Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment through routine rounds/log‑taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.).
  • Supervise contractor or Engineering Operations Technicians to ensure proper operation and maintenance of all facility equipment.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts on infrastructure through standardization of procedures and policies, delivering performance against agreed metrics.
  • Provide training and guidance to Engineering Operations Technicians and assist in recruiting efforts.
  • Lead the root cause analysis for operational issues, conducting meetings with SMEs to finalize mitigation strategies.
• Manual handling and lifting of equipment may be required (weight limits in accordance with regulations).
• Ability to work shifts (morning, late and night).
• On‑call rotation for emergency calls during off‑duty periods.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High school or equivalent diploma
• Knowledge of key electrical competencies and theory

• Experience in data center engineering
