Key Job Responsibilities

• SAFETY: Follow and maintain the highest safety standards and diligently encourage a world‑class safety culture. As a facility owner team, ensure remediation of safety risks/issues in conjunction with other teams. Own the safety initiatives and projects to foster a strong safety culture.
• ENGINEERING & FACILITY OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE: Operational experience and familiarity with electrical and mechanical equipment, including Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPSs), Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATSs), Diesel Generators, Chillers, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), Exhaust Fans, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and Transformers.
  • Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)
  • Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment through routine rounds/log‑taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.)
  • Supervise contractors who perform servicing or preventive maintenance
• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Manual handling and lifting of equipment may be required (weight limits in accordance with regulations).
  • Ability to work shifts (morning, late and night).
  • On‑call rotation reaction to off‑duty emergency calls.
  • Work at heights and from ladders; in a noisy environment with ear protection.
  • Perform physical tasks during the shift.

Basic Qualifications

• Knowledge of key electrical competencies and theory.
• High school or equivalent diploma.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data center engineering.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems (Mechanical, HVAC systems, Controls).
