Zusammenfassung

INVENSITY is looking for an embedded software engineer to develop and optimize software for modern controller platforms, variable-frequency drives, and servo drives. You will apply real-time communication, embedded systems, and industrial networks to deliver high-performance automation solutions.

Join an agile, model-driven development team in a global context; you will integrate third-party components, validate stacks, and collaborate with experts across disciplines.

Qualifikationen

• A completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering, communications and information technology, or a comparable field
• Several years of embedded software development experience using C/C++ on RTOS
• Deep knowledge of Python and Git-based development environments
• Knowledge of Ethernet-based protocols such as TCP/IP, TLS, PTP; IEEE 1588/TSN/X.509 familiarity is a plus
• Familiarity with C#, SQL, GoogleTest, Jenkins; experience with Azure DevOps/Pipelines, VS Code, CI/CD desired
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills; ability to communicate complex topics clearly to stakeholders
• Business-level German and very good English skills

You’ll develop and optimize software for modern controller platforms, variable-frequency drives, and servo drives. With your expertise in real-time communication, embedded systems, and industrial networks, you’ll lay the foundation for high-performance, reliable, and future-proof automation solutions.

Your profile

• A successfully completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering, communications and information technology , or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in hardware-oriented embedded software development using C/C++ under real-time operating systems (RTOS), as well as in-depth knowledge of Python and Git-based development environments
• In-depth knowledge of Ethernet-based communication protocols such as TCP/IP, TLS, and PTP; ideally supplemented by experience with industry standards such as IEEE 1588, TSN, and X.509
• Knowledge of C#, SQL, GoogleTest, and Jenkins, as well as experience with Azure DevOps/Pipelines, Visual Studio Code, or modern CI/CD processes, is a plus
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills , as well as the ability to communicate complex technical issues to various stakeholders in a way that is tailored to their needs, understandable, and practical
• Business-level proficiency in German and very good English skills
