Job summary

Orbital Critical Systems in Germany seeks Embedded Software Engineers for on-site work with Airbus projects. You will join agile teams to develop and test safety-critical real-time software for flight control computers, contributing to architecture and documentation.

The role requires a degree in Aerospace or CS, hands-on embedded development experience, and mandatory English and German language skills. Relocation and accommodation support are provided, with tax support for German returns.

Qualifications

• Degree in Aerospace, computer science or related field.
• Hands-on experience in embedded software development for safety-critical systems.
• B2/C1 English and B1/B2 German mandatory.
• EU citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Be part of an agile team developing and testing safety-critical real-time software.

• Analyze requirements and translate to actionable specifications.

Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) a leading company in safety‑critical software for aerospace, defence and transport, is looking for Embedded Software Engineers FCS & FMS to join our on‑site teams in Germany, supporting strategic projects with Airbus in Germany.

Locations include Manching and other sites across the country.
