Job summary

ND SatCom GmbH is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to design, implement and test software for SoCs, evaluation boards and custom platforms. You will develop drivers, middleware and applications to enable PoCs and system prototypes, integrate partner SDKs and in‑house modules, and support HW/SW co‑design and debugging.

Collaboration across teams is essential, with documentation of software design, integration and best practices while applying RTOS, Embedded Linux, and board

Qualifications

• Completed studies in computer/electrical engineering or comparable.
• 2–5+ years in embedded software development using C/C++ (Python a plus).
• Experience with RTOS, embedded Linux, SoCs, FPGAs, and board bring-up.
• Familiar with drivers, communication protocols (Ethernet, TCP/IP, 3GPP 5G/6G), and Git workflows.
• Very good English skills, German basic knowledge.
