RequireTech Resources is looking for a Electro-Mechanical Field Service Engineer for a leading client in Munich, Germany.

The Electro-Mechanical Field Service Engineer should have a strong mechatronics background and practical experience working on complex industrial machinery.

The successful candidate is comfortable performing mechanical disassembly and assembly of industrial equipment, electrical wiring and troubleshooting, vacuum and fluid system diagnostics, and PLC-based fault finding.

The role requires extensive customer-facing field service activities combined with independent technical problem-solving.

The engineer acts as a technical expert for industrial vacuum, coating, thermal processing, and related equipment, supporting customers throughout the complete equipment lifecycle.

This is a highly hands-on role.

Candidates should enjoy working directly on industrial machinery and be comfortable performing both mechanical and electrical service activities in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation and commissioning of industrial machinery and equipment at customer sites.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Technical education as Mechatronics Technician, State-Certified Mechatronics Technician, Commissioning Engineer, Industrial Mechatronics Technician, Industrial Mechanic or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience working on industrial machinery.
• Practical experience with electro‑mechanical assemblies.
• Experience performing mechanical teardown and rebuild of industrial equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical wiring and control systems.
• Experience with PLC diagnostics.
• Experience with vacuum and fluid systems.
• Willingness to travel extensively
• Willingness to relocate to the Munich area
